Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, people are spending more time at home, and the phenomenon of adopting pets, buying pet products, and sharing pet life has increased dramatically and become the trend in pet economy. Meanwhile, with the lifestyle change caused by the low birth-rate, people are paying more attention to pets and their related materials around their lives. Therefore, this study introduces human machine engineering, TRIZ theory, the experimentation method, field experiment, and survey techniques. In order to solve the problem of where to place pet baskets, bringing interactions between people and pets, understanding the comfort condition of placing dogs and pets, and finding the best position for pet baskets on bicycles, we propose the advantages and disadvantages of pet baskets in the market, and suggest the future design direction. The experimental results show that the best position for the pet basket to interact with people is close to the bicycle handlebar orat the human leg position, which is the most popular choice. In this study, the results of the experimental analysis and questionnaire are used to simulate the position of the pet basket on the bicycle in 3D, to improve the current problems of the pet basket and to optimize the efficiency and procedure of the product design.
