Journal of Art and Design Research is an online publication. It publishes original research, creative work, and critical commentaries on key issues in arts and design related fields. Contribution can be in the form of conceptual or theoretical studies, research articles, case studies, or review articles. Contributions in art-related fields may include artists' exegetical writings, interviews, critical essays, visual essays, historical documentation, and book reviews.

Our journal is a double-blind, peer-reviewed publication. All submitted manuscripts must be original work that is not under submission or under consideration for publication. Authors are required to ensure that no material submitted as part of a manuscript infringes existing copyrights, or the rights of a third party. Authors who publish with the Journal need to transfer copyright to the Journal to make their work open-access for a global audience.

Open Access Policy

The journal is open-access journal. All content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
